Declose Event

Declose, a copyleft licensed 12" vinyl scratch tool containing a range of samples, beats and extracts made from the out-of-copyright blues, jazz and folk housed in the Open Music Archive.

Declose Event:

Featuring scratch routines, live experiments and improvisation using the Declose vinyl by:

DJ Dysu & Man One (Open Sauce)

and out-of-copyright and copyleft DJ set by:

Eileen Simpson & Ben White

The Declose vinyl will be available on the night in exchange for a donation.

Clips Blips and Loops 3

We are inviting electronic music producers to work exclusively with out-of-copyright mechanical music box recordings to cut, splice, reorder and rearrange the material to make beats, breaks, clips, blips and loops that are copyleft and available for others to build on and use in the future.

The project will be launched at a live event as part of:
