Artists Eileen Simpson and Ben White set up the first temporary outlet for their Open Music Archive. Distributing direct to the public, the outlet makes available the out-of-copyright and copyleft material from the archive on CDs, CDRs, and vinyl. A collaboration between Eileen Simpson and Ben White (Open Music Archive) and Felix Thorn exploring the potential of out-of-copyright material and referencing early automated music playback technologies that preceded the gramophone. The results of the investigation will be presented in a live event at Gasworks featuring Felix's Machine.
